WIPO has joined the Internet Governance discussion at the end of the 1990s. It has been strongly involved in developing ICANN’s Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP). The WIPO Arbitration Center is one of four arbitration bodies for domain disputes that are acknowledged by ICANN.
