Apps 4 Digital Peace, 30 April 2020
The Tech Accord, initiated by Microsoft two years ago, has launched a new competition “Apps 4 Digital Peace” in cooperation with the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) and the UN Ambassador for Youth. The competition is aimed at young experts up to the age of 32 who are invited to develop apps that contribute to cyber security and international peace. The winners will receive a prize of US$ 15,000,00 and the opportunity to present their work to the UN General Assembly in September 2020. The deadline for submitting proposals is 30 July 2020[1]. The Tech Accord has now been signed by over 150 companies.
