Q3/2019 - EuroDIG

Trieste, 10 September 2019

A first preparatory conference for the 13th European Internet Governance Forum (EuroDIG) was held in Trieste, where key elements of the program were agreed. EuroDIG 13 will take place from 10 to 12 June 2020 in Trieste, Italy, under the motto "Towards a sustainable governance of the Internet". Proposals for topics can be submitted until 8 December 2019[1]. The conference also adopted the "Messages from The Hague" that were compiled at the 12th EURODIG. On 56 pages the document gives more than 50 recommendations, which are meant to enhance the discussions at the 14th IGF in Berlin[2]. EuroDIG also moderates the European discussion on the report of the UN High Level Panels on Digital Cooperation[3].
