Q3/2019 - UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF)

New York, 8 – 12 July and 9 – 10 September 2019

The annual UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) 2019 was held in two parts (8 – 12 July and 9 – 10 September 2019) in New York. This year’s forum did not focus on cyber and digital issues. The resolution adopted by the General Assembly requesting the UN states to increase their efforts to achieve the sustainable development goals in the remaining decade until 2030, includes a passage dealing with digital transformation; it does not specify, however, any new commitments[1].
